Beaches Ciboney Golf Resort & Spa will be closed on Sept. 1, 2000 for the first phase of a $10 million, multi-year refurbishment. Phase one will be completed by Dec. 15, 2000 when the resort is scheduled to reopen as an active, adults-only (ages 16-and-up) ultra all-inclusive luxury resort. Beaches Ciboney Golf Resort & Spa will welcome families (with children over the age of 16), singles, groups and couples. All prior bookings at Ciboney will be protected and accommodated at any Beaches or Sandals Resort.

The existing spa facility and fitness center will be receiving a multi-million dollar facelift, including the addition of new treatment rooms, renovation of existing facilities and entirely new aquatherapy equipment. Upon grand opening, the European spa will offer a full range of a la carte services at an additional fee.
